Visiting the website
The website is hosted by Cloudflare. When you open a page, Cloudflare processes technical data needed to deliver it and protect it against attacks: IP address, date and time, requested page, referring page, browser and operating system. This processing is necessary to operate the website securely (legitimate interest).
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies, does not track you across websites and does not build individual profiles. The website does not use cookies for tracking or advertising, and fonts and videos are served from our own website rather than from third parties.
Contact form and email
When you use the contact form, we process the data you enter: name, company, email address, field, project stage, message and whether you request an NDA. When you email us, we process your email address and the content of your message. We use this data only to answer your enquiry and, if a project follows, to prepare and carry out the contract.
To protect the form against spam, it uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which evaluates technical signals from your browser and your IP address. Messages sent through the form are delivered to our mailbox by the email service Brevo. Our mailbox is hosted by LWS.
We keep enquiries as long as needed to handle them and for any resulting business relationship. Business records are kept for the retention periods required by law, typically ten years in Switzerland.
Service providers
- Cloudflare, Inc., USA: hosting, analytics and spam protection
- Sendinblue SAS (Brevo), France: delivery of contact form messages
- Ligne Web Services SAS (LWS), France: email hosting
These providers process data only on our behalf and according to our instructions. Brevo and LWS process data in the European Union, which offers an adequate level of protection. Cloudflare may process data in the USA and other countries; such transfers rely on the Swiss-U.S. and EU-U.S. Data Privacy Frameworks or on standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can request information about the personal data we hold about you, and ask for it to be corrected or deleted. Where the GDPR applies, you can also restrict or object to processing and request a copy of your data in a portable format. To exercise these rights, email us at info@alpinelab.ch.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) in Switzerland, or with the data protection authority of your country of residence in the EU.
Changes
We may update this policy when the website or the services we use change. The current version applies.
