A collision-tolerant drone for inspection in confined spaces, protected by a spherical cage.
Our contribution
François Heremans led the mechanical design and integration of the ASIO drone for Flybotix, first as the company’s lead mechanical engineer and then as a contractor through AlpineLab. The work brought together the protective cage, central propulsion module and onboard systems into a robust, flight-ready platform.
